Biography
Dr. Gustavo Godoy is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and medical legal expert with over twenty years of experience. Fluent in English and Spanish, he is renowned for forensic medicine and independent medical evaluations.
As a Professor at Tulane University School of Medicine, Dr. Godoy specializes in adult reconstructive surgery and is a leader in robotic orthopedic procedures. He holds licenses in Louisiana and New York, and acts as a consultant and robotics design surgeon with biomedical engineers.
Dr. Godoy has participated as an expert witness and document reviewer in plaintiff and defense cases, including for law firms and international oil companies, specializing in off-shore injury cases. He is a Fellowship-trained surgeon, recognized for academic achievement and innovation.
